ARU London offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Business and Management, Finance and Accounting, Hospitality, Events and Tourism, Health, and Law. We currently have over 6,000 students at our East London campus, located just a short walk from East India DLR station. Our National Student Survey (NSS) 2025 results were excellent, demonstrating our commitment to students and the high levels of student satisfaction.
We are now seeking to recruit experienced, student-centred and innovative academics as Senior Lecturers. Successful applicants will have experience of teaching across Business, Hospitality, Events and Tourism Management. You will be a proactive, supportive and values-led member of the ARU London community, delivering evidence-informed teaching. As a Module Leader, your responsibilities will include:
- Designing, reviewing and developing module materials in line with contemporary evidence, data and professional body requirements, where applicable.
- Delivering lectures, tutorials and seminars in accordance with the module plan, module documentation and allocated contact hours.
- Engaging students in a dynamic, interactive and stimulating learning experience.
The successful candidates will be able to teach across a diverse range of related undergraduate and/or postgraduate modules. They will be motivated, inspirational and supportive, with a passion for developing our students. All employees are required to teach face-to-face at our East India campus, which is within walking distance of both East India and Blackwall DLR stations.
If you are enthusiastic about your subject, motivated by helping students develop their professional knowledge and skills, share our belief in the transformational power of education, can thrive in a fast-paced environment, and wish to be recognised for your teaching excellence, we would be delighted to hear from you.
You will be qualified to an appropriate academic and/or professional level and have relevant sector experience. Higher qualifications are desirable. You must hold Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
You must have the existing right to live and work in the United Kingdom without restriction or sponsorship.
